I think you are right on the nose!

Registry maintainence is a very important issue for all computer users. Not only does it govern your computers startup, but also how it executes programs, and how it processes ALL data. Without a proper registry, you can and will experience (1)a slower computer, (2)an unstable computer, (3)eventually, a new computer.

I am an old-time computer user. I remember the days of DOS and Windows 3.1. The first computer I ever saw was a Commodore when I was 5. Raise your hand if you remember Commodore or even Windows 3.1. Go on raise your hand.
Now take your arthritis medication and read on.

With windows becoming more and more complex, the heart of your computer (and it's user) will need more maintainence.

RegCure is an excellent program and I'll give it a 10 out of 10 in my book, which is suprisingly missing some pages. But it's not the only good registry program out there. Registry Mechanic, Registry Fix, and Registry Easy are all good programs. In fact these are just a few. But there are also very bad ones out there that are spyware and viruses masked as registry programs.

The NUMBER ONE THING TO REMEMBER is to look for a review on the program before you try it. Actually look for multiple reviews because you are looking for an unbiased view on the potential software.

Yes PCTools rates Registry Mechanic and the number one registry tool, but that is just because their team of programmers wrote it. They even signed Dr. Phil to endorse their software on his show and online. Don't take this wrong, it may be a decent program, but it requires an unbiased opinion by people who have had experience with computers and who know at least a little about computers, even if all they know is obsolete programing languages.

So I'll rap this up.
PAY FOR THE LICENSE KEY RATHER THAN DOWNLOADING A VIRUSED HACK YOU ****** ******. IT'S ******* WORTH EVERY ******* PENNY!!!!!!!

Yes Alan I agree with you on this that you need more than one program to ensure you are fully protected. As I have found that most programs can only remove some of the spyware not all. My strategy is to have a paid spyware program and also a free version and I to run them side by side.

I use at least three programs! Ad-aware, Spybot S&D, and CA anti-spyware provided by my ISP. All three are good programs and I run them often! With all the surfing and site reviewing I do, I have to stay on top of things!

Since adware and spyware is constantly changing, no one program will always find everything. It take time to develope a signature for each pest!

My web directory allows people to report malicious sites that serve up those pests so others won't have to stumble upon them.
